Wayne T. Dudding, 57 of Elm Creek, Nebraska passed away suddenly Thursday, November 18, 2021 at the CHI Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
Wayne was born July 25, 1964 in Fontana, California to James and Patricia (Ryan) Dudding. He was raised in California, lived in Kentucky, and lived the rest of his life out in Nebraska
Wayne was a simple man who his children looked up to as their hero, he was their world. He loved his children and grandchildren. He was also known to be there not only for his family, but his friends. Even if he didn’t know you he would try and help out.
He loved to travel to see family and friends. He was even married one time in Las Vegas, Nevada to his high school sweetheart. He also loved going to Colorado.
He was married three times and loved all three of his wives in his own way. He married his high school sweetheart and they were blessed with a baby girl. From the second marriage he was blessed with two boys and two girls. One of his sons passed away at an early age due to SIDS, he was heartbroken from this. His third marriage he got a package deal because not only did he get a wife but he also got a beautiful daughter. His two oldest daughters Melody and Samantha blessed him with four grandsons and three granddaughters.
He was proud of all the kids and grandkids with whatever they did. He was one of their biggest cheerleaders. You would see him cheering the kids on in whatever sport they participated in. He enjoyed parent night during the football season when Kollin was in football. When his grandson, Kornelius caught his 30.25” fish.
He was also known for his cheesy grin and goofy ways. He played hard and even worked harder to make ends meet. He loved goofing off with the kids like playing with straws while they’re at the restaurant waiting for their food. When serious things were going on he was serious about the situation. He would either give you a hug or he would hold your hand to let you know he was there.
He was also known for loving sports he loved Los Angeles Dodgers, Nebraska Cornhuskers and he loved watching NFL football. When asked what his favorite team was regarding NFL he would be ornery and tell you the opposite team you were cheering on.
Survivors include his wife, Charity Marquette of Funk, NE., one son; Kollin of Elm Creek, four daughters: Melody ( and fiancé Josh Burks) Dudding of Spring, Missouri, Samantha (Desmond) Small of Sterling, Colorado, Graci Dudding of Johnson Lake, Ne., and Emily Dudding of Elm Creek, Nebraska.
