Victor Fidel Bran

Victor F. Bran, 72, of Lexington, Nebraska passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at CHI Health Saint Francis in Grand Island.

Victor was born on April 21, 1948, in Tiquizate, Escuintla, Guatemala to Francisco Roberto Yarena and Filomena Bran Ramos.

He was united in marriage to Orfa Nuria Medina de Bran on December 10, 1966 in Guatemala. They raised their family in Guatemala before moving to Lexington, Nebraska in 2004. Victor was a minister and started the Asambleas De Dios Filadelfia church. His church grew into a large congregation which he enjoyed serving and helping his members.

Victor was a talented musician from a young age playing the piano, guitar and accordion. He enjoyed being outdoors riding horses, hunting and fishing. Above all, Victor has left a tremendous legacy of love, and faith to his church and family.

Victor leaves to celebrate his life, his wife, Orfa Nuria Medina de Bran of Lexington, his children, Erick Bran, Hairo Bran, Emerson Bran, Nery Bran, Eluvia Bran, Judith Bran, Sheny Bran, Orfa Bran, Keny Bran and Elibeth Bran, seventeen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; three brothers and six sisters; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral Services will be on Friday, October 2, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. at Asambleas De Dios Filadelfia in Lexington with Pastor, officiating. The funeral service will be live streamed via the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home Facebook page.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 3-8 p.m. at Asambleas De Dios Filadelfia in Lexington. The casket will be closed.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington.

Memorials are kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
