Thomas McGuire Slaby

Thomas McGuire Slaby, 76, of Lakeview, Arkansas, formerly of Nebraska passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024 at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.

He was born on June 11, 1947, in Denver, Colorado to Thomas and Vera (McGuire) Slaby.

Tom graduated from Lincoln Northeast High School with the class of 1965. Following high school, Tom joined the United States Marine Corps where he proudly served his country from November 29, 1965 until he was honorably discharged on November 6, 1968. 

He was united in marriage to Janice Poulas on June 11, 1969 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Tom worked for Boeing Aircraft as a Teamster/Truckdriver.

Survivors include his wife, Janice of Lakeview, Arkansas.

Graveside Services with Full Military Honors will be held at Fort McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell, Nebraska with Reverend Eddie Mariel, officiating.

Memorials are kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
