She was a devoted member of Hope Lutheran Church until she became a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She began working for Grace Lutheran in the 1990's and dedicated over thirty years to the church as their office manager. Sharon had a deep faith in the Lord and enjoyed sharing that with others at church as well as with the children at the Grace Lutheran Preschool. She loved spending time with her family and always held a special place in her heart for her grandchildren. Sharon was an animal lover who spoiled her two puppies rotten, always making sure to make extra burgers just for them.

Those left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Al Miller of Lexington; children, Dale (Susan) Miller of Norfolk, Scott Miller of Erie, Colorado, and Rebecca (Brad) Nichols of Omaha; grandchildren, Lily Miller, Ava Miller, Zoie Nichols, and Owin Nichols; sister, Marlene (Terry) Evans of Smithfield; brother-in-law, Mark Eilers of Lincoln; sister-in-law, Sue Paling of Tennessee; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
