Sharon L. Hartman, 73, of Cozad, Nebraska, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney. Sharon was born October 20, 1948, in Gothenburg, the daughter of Alvin and Ruth Nichelson. She graduated from Cozad Senior High with the class of 1967. On October 28,1966, she was united in marriage to Darrel R. Hartman. This union was blessed with 3 children, Jeffery, Cassandra and Shawn. Sharon was a former office manager for Eustis Body Shop in Cozad before taking retirement. She was a very loving and caring person who always put her family first. Spending time with family was her favorite and she cherished it. Sharon enjoyed camping and fishing with Darrel and her beloved dog Baxter, enjoying the sun, and loved taking road trips. She could never pass up a good garage sale before her health diminished. Those left to cherish her memory are; Her husband of 56 years Darrel of Cozad. Children; Cassandra (Timothy) Grudzinski of Dacono CO, and Shawn (April) Hartman of Paxton. Sisters; Ethel (Richard) Newbrey of Lancaster, CA, Charlie Bodenmiller of Sidney, OH and brother Alvin (Sunny) Nichelson of Wichita KS. Grandchildren; Grady (Cara) Grudzinski of Dacono, CO, Xander Hartman of Paxton, Michael, Amber, and many nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son Jeffery, sister Velma Kroeker and her parents Ruth and Alvin There will be no visitation, as the family is honoring Sharon’s wish for cremation. A Celebration of Life to honor Sharon will be at a later time for family and friends A memorial has been established in Sharon’s honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
