Rosa D. Gonzalez Acevedo

Rosa D. Gonzalez Acevedo, 72, formerly of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Emerald Nursing and Rehab Lakeview in Grand Island, Nebraska.

She was born on August 30, 1953, in Havana, Cuba, to Reynolds Gonzalez and Mirta Acevedo. She attended public school and received her bachelor's degree in Cuba, before moving to the United States.

She loved listing to her favorite music and spending her days with her family, who she adored the most. She will be greatly missed.

Rosa leaves behind 5 children: Reinier L Fernandez (Karla), Ana Faylun, Sady Faylun, Lisania Faylun, and Abel Faylun; as well as 21 grandkids, and 15 great grandkids. 

Rosa is preceded in death by her parents.

The family is honoring Rosa's wish to be cremated with no services.
