Pamela Sue Johnson, 68, of Eustis, Nebraska, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on February 21, 1957, in Longmont, Colorado, to Alan and Esther (Abels) Debban. She attended public school in Lexington and graduated from Lexington High School with the class of 1975. Pamela later went on to attend and graduate from the Law Enforcement Training Center in Grand Island, dedicating over 35 years to her career as a police officer as well as a Sergeant at the jail. She lived in various locations over the years, including Neligh, Omaha, and Pinedale, Wyoming, where she also worked as a Sergeant.

Pamela was an incredibly creative and artistic person; watercolors being her medium of choice. She enjoyed creating beautiful paintings during her free time. She loved playing games like scrabble, cribbage, and pitch, and spending time with her family. Pamela was also known as quite a phenomenal cook. She loved her family deeply and held a special place in her heart for her grandson and her dogs. Pamela was devout in her faith as it was everything to her, helping her endure and persevere during some of the tougher moments in life. Above all, she was an amazingly devoted mother to her daughter, as well as her best friend.

She is survived by her daughter, Riley (Mason) Zeiger of Eustis; grandson, Joesiah Zeiger of Cheyenne, Wyoming; siblings, Robin (Donn) Debban of Elwood, Dianna (Tim) Wheeler) of Neligh, Jackie (Erik) Rowan of Lexington, Bryan (Jennifer) Debban of Oklahoma, and Angela (Mike) Long of Council Bluffs; special friends, Deb Potter of Holdrege and Judy Grant of Council Bluffs, as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Besides her parents, Pamela was preceded in death by her sister, Cheryl Lou, and nieces, Erika Joy and Sandra Dawn.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington.

Following the Celebration of Life Service, there will be a meal served at The Well, 402 N. Grant St., Lexington, NE.

Memorials are kindly suggested to the family for later designation.

The family requests casual attire and yellows and pinks are preferred in honor of Pamela.
