Mildred E. Hollibaugh, 94, of Eddyville, NE passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025 at the Callaway Good Life Center.

Mildred was born on January 5, 1931 in Buffalo County on the Clarence Shubert farm north of Elm Creek to George Rogers and Mildred Eliker Rogers. She attended school at West 12, District 4 in Overton, North 17 in Dawson County and she finished high school at Lexington, NE.

She was married to Dean Hollibaugh in Norton, KS July 22, 1946. They had seven children: Daniel, Gene, George, Carol, Duane, Joseph and Evelyn and farmed in the Eddyville area for many years. Mildred also worked outside the home for many years at Walmart in Lexington.

Mildred is survived by her children Dan Hollibaugh, Gene Hollibaugh, Art Hollibaugh, Carol (Rod) Gibson, Joe (Vicky) Hollibaugh and Evelyn (Mike)Tuma. Grandchildren: Shannon Hruby, Jim Connor, Stephanie Jensen, Jennifer Koubek, Duane Gibson, Danelle Nickerson, Valerie Waddell, and Jake Tuma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mildred Rogers, brothers Charles and Bud, sisters Pat and Sue, her husband, Dean Hollibaugh, child Duane, daughters-in-law, Mert Hollibaugh and Diane Hollibaugh and grandchildren Bobby Connor and Terry Hollibaugh.

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Fort McPherson National Cemetery in Maxwell, Nebraska with lay minister, Sarah Neben, officiating.

Memorials are kindly suggested to the Sumner Fire and Rescue.
