Marco Tulio Bonilla López, 65, de Lexington, Nebraska, falleció el miércoles 8 de mayo de 2024 en el Centro Médico Regional de Kearney, Nebraska.

Nació el 29 de octubre de 1958, en San Marcos, Guatemala, hijo de Prudencio Bonilla Rodas y Juana López Barrios. Mientras vivía en Guatemala, trabajó como camarógrafo para el Canal 7. En junio de 1979, Marco se mudó a Los Ángeles, donde trabajó como custodio para Eagle Rock Jr Escuela secundaria. En 2012, hizo su casa en Lexington, Nebraska, donde trabajó como especialista ambiental para PSSI Sanitation hasta su fallecimiento.

Marco fue Co-Fundador y miembro activo de Red Internacional Voz de las Américas, donde estuvo involucrado en comunicaciones de radio CB a nivel mundial. Marco Tulio Bonilla Lopez, 65, of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Kearney Regional Medical Center in Kearney.

He was born on October 29, 1958, in San Marcos, Guatemala, to Prudencio Bonilla Rodas and Juana Lopez Barrios. While living in Guatemala, he worked as a cameraman for Channel 7. In June of 1979, Marco moved to Los Angeles where he worked as a custodian for Eagle Rock Jr. High School. In 2012, he made his home in Lexington, Nebraska where he worked as an environmental specialist for PSSI Sanitation until his passing.

Marco was Co-Founder and active member of Red Internacional Voz de las Americas where he was involved in worldwide radio CB communications. He was an incredibly charismatic man who loved to help. He had his own transportation service where he would wake up early in the morning to pick up students from all grades who didn't have a ride and bring them to school and drop them off at home after the day was over. During his time off, he loved cycling around town.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Marco Bonilla, Karla Bonilla, and Randy Bonilla, all of California; grandchildren, Genesis Johana Bonilla and Norah Marlia Bonilla, both of California; brother, Alejandro Alberto Bonilla Lopez of Guatemala; sisters, Ethelvina Bonilla De Arevalo of Lexington, Lilia Bonilla Lopez of California, Marina Antoinetta Bonilla of Guatemala, and Magda Selina Bonilla De Alvarez of Guatemala; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Iglesia Dios es Amor in Lexington with Pastor Santos Ordonez, officiating.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024, from 2-7 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington.

Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Lexington.
