Larry Edward Volk

Larry Edward Volk, 85, passed away on November 19, 2024, at the Gothenburg Memorial Hospital in Gothenburg, Nebraska.

Born on May 18, 1939, Larry was a long-time resident of Lexington, long-time farmer and rancher.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Ila Volk of Darr, and nephew, John Volk, of Darr.

He is survived by his brother, Charles (Bev) Volk of Darr; sister, Peggy Welsh of Topeka, Kansas; daughter, Mindy (Mark) Stutzman, of Crystal Springs, MS; son, Mitchel Volk, of Norman, Oklahoma; niece, Jenny Volk of Clay Center, Nebraska, and grandson, Mason (Payton) Volk, of Norman, Oklahoma.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Lexington, with Father Jose Chavez, officiating.

Inurnment will take place at St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, following the service.

Memorials are kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
