Arapahoe- Kelly Jo Blum, 62, of Arapahoe, Nebraska passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021 at the University Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
Kelly was born August 10, 1958 in Lexington, Nebraska to LeRoy A. and Bonnie J. (Flint) Woodside. She graduated from Gibbon High School with the class of 1976.
Kelly attended the Lutheran Church and was a 4-H leader and a member of the ARBA (American Rabbit Breeders Association). Kelly co-owned Blum Construction with her husband Terence.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed photography, hunting, and her love for animals which included horses, ducks, and chickens.
Terrence and Kelly achieved their dream of owning an acreage five years ago when they moved from Bertrand to the Arapahoe area.
Kelly is survived by her mother; Bonnie Flint of Kearney, her husband; Terence Blum of Arapahoe, two sons; Justin and wife Jessica Bliven of Cozad and Thomas Bliven, Jr. of Cozad, one daughter; Tara and husband Chad Biggs of Kearney, two brothers; Mark Woodside of Kearney and Roger and wife Suzanne Teel of Minden, one sister; Kathy Teel of Kearney, seven grandchildren; Gage, Garret, Gavin, Jostin, Colt and Rayne and Reece Bliven. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Kelly is preceded in death by her father; LeRoy, two sisters; Laura and Joannie, brother; Delray and step-mother Myrna Woodside.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 6, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at LexChristian Church in Lexington with Pastor David Leraaen, officiating.
There will be no visitation and the casket will be closed at the church.
Interment will be held in the Grace Cemetery in rural Cozad, Nebraska.
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
