Jeremy W. Koch, 42, of Plum Creek Canyon, Nebraska, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025.
He was born on July 5, 1982, in Cozad, Nebraska to Randall and Pam (Saum) Koch. he attended public school and graduated from Cozad. Jeremy attended Concordia University, where he ran Track and Field and Cross Country, graduating in 2005.
Bailey and Jeremy were married on July 24, 2004, and started Natural Escapes together in 2007.
Bailey and Jeremy shared their story publicly through their Anchoring Hope for Mental Health social media platform. They also published two books about mental health together in an effort to spread awareness and help others.
Jeremy loved nature and being outside. He was very active in their church and enjoyed being a youth leader. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and being with his family. He loved fireworks and always put on a fantastic show every fourth of July with Hudson and Asher. He loved Christmas and enjoyed showcasing their Christmas light display. He loved making and collecting art. He enjoyed riding jet skis and tinkering on them with the boys.
A Celebration of Life Service for Bailey, Jeremy, Hudson and Asher will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Parkview Baptist Church in Lexington with Pastor Keith Strasburger, officiating. The Service will be live streamed via the Parkview Baptist website at: parkviewfamily.com/media for overflow, there will be additional seating available with the live stream at The Refuge in Lexington, 1105 Park St. and at the Cozad United Methodist Church, 1515 B St.
There will be a Memorial Book Signing with family and friends on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 from 4-8 p.m. at Parkview Baptist Church in Lexington.
A bank account for the Koch Family Memorial has been established at Waypoint Bank in Cozad for anyone wanting to donate. A Venmo account will be set up that will be tied directly to that account for those outside of Cozad. Cash can be deposited and checks can be made out to one of the following: Jeremy Koch, Bailey Koch, Hudson Koch, Asher Koch, Koch Family Memorial, or Jacqui Hendrickson (account owner and Jeremy's sister).
