Jeremiah Lee Wolfe

December 6, 1976 — March 10, 2021

Jeremiah Lee Wolfe, 44, of North Platte, Nebraska, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, as the result of a truck unloading accident near Grant, Nebraska.

Jeremiah was born on December 6, 1976, in Lexington, Nebraska, to Gregory and Deanna (Terry) Wolfe. He received his primary education from Callaway High School in Callaway, Nebraska, and later completed his GED.

After achieving his GED, Jeremiah worked for Maaschoffs, the Feed Mill in Gothenburg and Beveridge Well Drilling out of North Platte. While working in North Platte, he found the love of his life, Kim Carruthers. They made their home in North Platte and Jeremiah was extremely proud he received his CDL and could be a Truck Driver like his father. He just started trucking over the road the last two months before his accident.

Jeremiah was always helping those who were in need, or those who were experiencing a rough day. He had a great love and appreciation for the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and working in the yard. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his children.

Jeremiah became the man he wanted to be. He will be greatly missed.

Survivors include the love of his life, Kim Carruthers, of North Platte; his parents, Greg (Deanna) Wolfe of Cozad; children, Briann Wolfe of Broken Bow, Tyler Wolfe of North Platte, Bailey Wolfe of Kearney, Tate Wolfe of North Platte and Destry Jorgensen of Cambridge; his brother, Daniel (Kristine) Wolfe of Gothenburg; aunts and uncles, George (Annette) Wolfe of Columbus, Tom Wolfe of Gothenburg, Amelia (Robert) Speck of Omaha, Susan Anderson of Eddyville, Debbie Steinbauch of York, Dawn (Robert) Hunter of Denver, Colorado, Donny Lester of Denver, Colorado, and Joe (Nancy) Hagemen of Englewood, Colorado; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
