James Santana, 49, of rural Lexington passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019 at his home south of Lexington. James was born July 4, 1969 in Norwalk, California, to Javier and Esperanza (Garcia) Santana. James attended school in California and was united in marriage to Lorena Cisneros on April 1, 1989 in Mexico. Two daughters were blessed to this union, Laura and Leslie. The couple moved to Lexington in 1991 when IBP opened. James worked there for thirteen years and then tried several other occupations before he found his love of meeting new people and started selling used cars. James was known to help anyone that came to him for assistance. His number one passion was his grandchildren. Survivors include his mother and father, his wife, Lorena, two daughters: Laura Madlock and Leslie Santana, two brothers, Javier Santana and Heriberto Santana, one sister, Adriana Preciado and three grandchildren: Giselle, Enrique and Emilio Madlock. Mass Of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington with Father Jose Chavez, officiating. Rosary will be held Monday, June 24, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington. Interment will be in the St. Ann’s Cemetery at Lexington.
