James "Jim" Hughbanks

James "Jim" Hughbanks, 70, of Callaway, Nebraska, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, January 22, 2024.

Jim was born on 1 June 1953, in North Platte, Nebraska to John and Lois (Smith) Hughbanks, the first of six children. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, John Folds.

Jim is survived by his siblings, Richard (Ben) Hughbanks of Flintville, Tennessee, Janet (Bill) Schaad of Callaway, Janine (John) Ferrier of Ozawkie, Kansas, Cindy Folds of Ozawkie, Kansas and Johnnie Hughbanks of Topeka, Kansas, as well as a special aunt, Beverly Bailey of Callaway and many nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation as the family is honoring Jim's wish for cremation.

A private inurnment will take place at Rose Hill Cemetery in Callaway, Nebraska.
