Hudson J. Koch, 18, of Plum Creek Canyon, Nebraska, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025.
He was born on September 19, 2006, in Kearney, Nebraska to Jeremy and Bailey (Kugler) Koch. He attended public schools in Cozad and would have graduated from Cozad High School this year.
Hudson loved working with his dad and serving the public at the greenhouse. He had a passion and talent for plants, particularly bonsai trees. Hudson loved playing drums. He was always the biggest fan in the crowd at school activities. He was excited about being accepted for an apprenticeship in California with a well-known bonsai master. Hudson loved riding his jet ski, usually full throttle everywhere he went. He didn't know a stranger and could talk to anyone he met.
A bank account for the Koch Family Memorial has been established at Waypoint Bank in Cozad for anyone wanting to donate. A Venmo account will be set up that will be tied directly to that account for those outside of Cozad. Cash can be deposited and checks can be made out to one of the following: Jeremy Koch, Bailey Koch, Hudson Koch, Asher Koch, Koch Family Memorial, or Jacqui Hendrickson (account owner and Jeremy's sister).
