Glenn P. Gruber

Glenn P. Gruber, 87, of Osborne, Kansas, formerly of Lexington, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Osborne County Memorial Hospital.

He was born on October 30, 1937, at the family farm in Gosper County, to Paul and Anna (Tober) Gruber. He attended public school growing up and graduated from Elwood High School.

Glenn was an incredibly hard worker and dedicated many years farming before working for Sperry New Holland loading combines and trains until the late 1980's when they closed their doors. He then went on to work for B & J Hay where he would grind and bail the hay until his retirement in 2007. In 2018, Glenn moved from Dawson County and made his home in Osborne, Kansas.

Survivors include his sons, Raymond Gruber of Kearney, Rodney Gruber of Osborne, Kansas, and Ronald Gruber of Kearney; sister, Lola Hostrom of Kearney; as well as extended family and friends.

Besides his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by his daughter in law Denice Gruber, Grand daughter Jennifer Imler Great daughter jj, grand son James Gruber, grandson in law David Dean, grandson in law Kris Linden, and Great grandson Jaxson Linden.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington with Lay Minister, Sarah Neben officiating.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 5-7 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington.

Burial will be held at Elwood Cemetery following the service.
