Elaine Kay (Frahm) Peck, 89, of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at the Bertrand Nursing Home.

She was born on February 28, 1937, in Superior, Nebraska to Everett and Blanche (Solomon) Frahm. Elaine grew up in Mankato, Kansas. She moved to Holdrege, Nebraska where she graduated from Holdrege High School with the class of 1955. On January 5, 1957, Elaine was united in marriage to Ed Peck in Holdrege. Three children were blessed to this union: Kelly, Mike, and Traci. The couple then made their forever home in Lexington.

Elaine dedicated her early years to raising her children until they were old enough to attend school. She then began her professional career working at Montgomery Ward in Lexington and at Home Federal Bank before spending many years working for Dr. John Barron in his dental office.

Elaine was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lexington Firemen’s Auxiliary and enjoyed spending time with their friends in card club and dance club. Elaine’s greatest joy came from attending her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s events.

Elaine is survived by her husband of 69 years, Ed Peck; her children Kelly (Ted) Harvey of Lexington, Mike (Danette) Peck of Kearney, and Traci (Dean) Cerny of Columbus; her grandchildren Ashley (Drew) Anderson of Kansas City, Jake (Zulema) Harvey of Lexington, Andy (Alisha) Cerny of Lincoln, Leigh (Blake) Becher of Lincoln, Danny Peck of Lincoln, and Matt (Jacque) Peck of Waterloo; great-grandchildren Maya Anderson, Madden Kittelson, Faith Anderson, Nash Anderson, Sophie Cerny, Clara Peck, Brody Peck and another baby girl arriving in November; sibling, Jerry (Connee) Frahm; in laws, Joan Frahm, Jim Wagner, Gleni Frahm, Jack (Shelley) Peck, Jill (James) Huston, Kathy Slayman and numerous nieces and nephews.

Elaine was proceeded in death by her parents Everett and Blanche and siblings, Lewis Rightmier, Everett Frahm, Janet Wagner, Charlotte Barron and Danny Frahm and in laws Billie Clements and Bob Peck.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lexington with Pastor Rob Kuefner officiating. The service will be livestreamed via the Trinity Lutheran Church website at tlclex.org. Inurnment to follow the service at Greenwood Cemetery in Lexington.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m.
