Eileen (Doris E.) Zlatkovsky of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Eileen was born on May 30, 1938, in Milbank, South Dakota to Lynn and Doris Hoyt. As a young girl, the family moved to Cozad, NE where she graduated from Cozad High School.

She married the love of her life, Frank Zlatkovsky on August 5, 1956. They lived in Lexington their entire married life, recently celebrating their 68th anniversary. Two children, Cris and Dave, were born to this union.

Eileen never met a stranger. She loved her family and friends dearly, but the real highlights of her life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved the kids, and to them she was known as “Gigi”. Many years of working at Pinnacle Bank gave her an opportunity to get to know most people in Lexington.

Survivors include her husband, Frank; children, Cris (Kerry) Teetor and Dave (Karla) Zlatkovsky of Lincoln; grandchildren, TJ (Wendy) Teetor of Omaha, Mindy (Scott) Rief of Grand Island, Beth (Jeff) Daake of Malcom and Jacob (Alyx) Zlatkovsky of Milford; great-grandchildren, Elliott, Adi, and Ben Teetor, Hudson, Brecken, and Nyla Rief, Jameson and Sutton Daake and Andi and Jaxon Zlatkovsky; sister, Barbara Golden of Tucson, Arizona; as well as many dear nieces and nephews.

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents; in-laws, Frank & Anna Zlatkovsky; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Daniel Metzger; brother and sister-in-law, Pat and Joanne Hoyt and brother-in-law, George Golden.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday October 14 at 10:30 A.M. at LexChristian Church in Lexington, Nebraska, with Pastor Robert Litzenberger, officiating.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2024, from 5-7 P.M at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington, Nebraska. 

Interment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Lexington, NE.

Memorials are kindly suggested to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation or St. Jude's Research Hospital.
