She was born on December 9, 1969 to Victor Roy and ruby Ellen (Brown) Schultze in Lexington, Nebraska. Dotty graduated from Lexington High School in 1989. She moved around and then called Corpus Christi, Texas home. 

Dotty loved her cats, her bike and her special friends she made in Texas.

Dotty leaves behind 3 sisters and 2 brothers: Beverly (Tony) Kleidosty, Riverdale, NE, Carol Case, Lexington, NE, Arlene Schultze, St. Mary, FL, Roger (Kim) Schultze, Central City, NE, and Ronald (Ann) Schultze, Cozad, NE, as well as extended family and friends.
