Donna Kay Wilson

Donna Kay Wilson, 81, of Overton, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at her home.

Donna was born on May 16, 1941, in Iowa City, Iowa to Robert and Arlene (Bock) Cartano. She married and had three sons: Jay, Douglas, and Dennis Wilson. She later moved to Nebraska where she made her permanent residency.

Donna enjoyed Husker sports, especially football. She also loved taking trips to the casinos to play the penny slots. Donna was a bird enthusiast and enjoyed doing puzzles in her free time. She also loved the water. Donna enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Her home was always a welcoming place for all to stop by and visit where more than a few card games were played.

Donna is survived by her two sons, Douglas (Debbie) Wilson and Dennis (Patti) Wilson; daughter-in-law, Brenda Wilson; four grandchildren, Jessica, Jacob, Jamie and Hannah.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Arlene Cartano, and her son, Jay.

A special thanks to Doctor Nelson and his staff for the special care over the years.

There will be no visitation as the family is honoring Donna’s wish of cremation.

Memorials are kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
