Lange

Donna Evelyn Lange, 90, of Callaway, Nebraska passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at the Callaway District Hospital.
Donna was born on June 15, 1936, to Frank and Muriel (Gray) Harriman in Hershey, Nebraska. She attended school in North Platte.
Donna was united in marriage to Raymond F. Lange on April 13, 1952, four children were blessed to this marriage; Linda, Janice, Keith and Larry. Ray had a son, Donald Ray from his first wife, Marie Trembly, who passed away a few years after being married. Donna raised Donald as one of her own.
Ray and Donna moved to Palmer in 1975, before moving to Grand Island in 1982. In 1989, they moved back to their hometown of Callaway. Donna lived a majority of her life doing what she loved the most, being a homemaker. She dedicated much of her time to her children when they were young. Once her children were old enough to go to school, Donna began working several jobs such as working in a factory near town and was a waitress for several years, working at Taylor's Cafe and Royal Patio Cafe in Callaway and later owned and operated the Range House Cafe in Palmer.
Donna enjoyed spending her summers traveling with her husband, Ray. She loved camping and spending time with family and friends. She was a good fisherwoman somehow always catching walleye fish, to clean and cook. Donna and Ray had especially fun and great trips with Aunt Loretta and Uncle Claude to Canada and Mexico. She cherished all the camping trips in their RV camper. She was known as a green thumb and liked to tend to her flowers in her garden often and often kept herself busy reading magazines and her bible. Faith and the church were very important to Donna.
Survivors include her children, Keith Lange of Oconto and Larry (Rhonda) Lange of St. Paul; two brothers, Don Harriman of Montrose, Colorado and Dale Harriman of Horseshoe, Idaho; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
