Diego Antonio Arias-Aguilar

Diego Antonio Arias-Aguilar, 90, of Lexington, Nebraska, died Friday, April 27, 2018, at Lexington Regional Health Center. Diego was born November 12, 1927, in Santa Maria Ishuatan, Guatemala to Jose Dolores Arias and Maria Reyes Aguilar. He came to Lexington for the first time in 2003 and returned in November of 2004 to be closer to family. Diego enjoyed fishing, watching television and working. Family was also very important to him. Survivors include his sons, Rigoberto De Jesus Arias-Melger and wife Rosaura of Long Beach, California, Alberto Arias-Lopez and wife Anjelica of Guatemala, Abdulio Arias-Lopez of Washington, D.C., Carlos Humberto-Arias of Lexington, Nebraska, Victor Arias-Lopez of Guatemala & Byron Antonio Arias and wife Gendy of Lexington, Nebraska; daughters, Maria Hirmelda and husband Carlos H. Godinez of Lexington, Nebraska, Laura Arias-Lopez and husband Hernan Ramos of Lexington, Nebraska, Guadalupe Arias and husband Eric Thixton of Lexington, Nebraska and Catalina Arias of Parago, Arkansas. Mass Of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church with Father Jose Chavez, officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, April 30, 2018, from 5-7 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Lexington.
