Diana Marie Bogosian, 70, of Lexington, Nebraska passed away unexpectedly at her home on February 25, 2022 in Lexington.
She was born on May 12, 1951 in Oskaloosa, Iowa to James Robert “J.R.” and Rosie (Oseka) Wilson. She received her primary education from Omaha before moving to Lexington during 8th grade. She then attended Lexington and graduated from Lexington High School with the class of 1969.
Diana lived the majority of her life in Lexington and adopted two sons, Ted and Tim. In her younger years, she cleaned at Excel and Cornland Dressed Beef. Diana then spent the next thirty plus years working for Wal-Mart. She worked in Human Resource and helped train new employees for other Wal-Marts throughout the state.
Diana was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington.
Diana loved going to craft shows, attending junk jaunts and decorating for Christmas, which was a year-round theme. She enjoyed playing the slot machines at the casino and spending time with her best friends, the Sentelle clan and her Walmart family. She also faithfully followed her sons playing sports and school activities.
Survivors include her sons, Ted (Amy Jo) Bogosian of Grand Island and Tim (Jennie) Bogosian of Lincoln; two grandchildren, Abby (fiancé Jono Kubicka) Bogosian of Odessa and Landon Bogosian of Grand Island.
Diana was preceded in death by her parents, James Robert Wilson and Rose Carolyn (Oseka) Wilson and brother Larry Wilson.
Memorial Services will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington with Father Jose Chavez, officiating. The Service will be live-streamed via the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home Facebook page. (link)
There will be no visitation, as the family is honoring Diana’s wish for cremation.
Inurnment will be in Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington. Following the burial there will be a lunch served at St. Ann’s Catholic Church.
A memorial has been established in Diana’s honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
