Deborah
Schwarz
Feb 12, 1951 — Jun 17, 2026
Deborah Schwarz passed away with her family by her side June 17, 2026, at the age of 75 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska. She was born on February 12, 1951, in Fairmont, Minnesota.
She and her brother and sister were raised by their single mother, Gloria. In 1972, Gloria married Robert Olnhausen, who became the beloved father Debbie always knew. Debbie graduated from high school in 1969. Debbie married Alfred Schwarz in Lexington, Nebraska, on November 29, 1975. They made their home in Lexington for many years, where they had two children, Chris and Scott. Later in life, Debbie and Alfred moved to Elwood, Nebraska, where they both retired.
Debbie leaves behind a beautiful life filled with love, loyalty, and cherished memories. Debbie did not need a long list of hobbies to have an impact on the world; her true passion was caring for the people she loved. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister. Above all else, Debbie lived entirely for her children. Chris and Scott were the absolute center of her world, and she fiercely and selflessly put them first in everything she did. That same boundless love naturally transferred to her grandchildren—Claire, Seth, Noah, Mason, and Korbin—who became her ultimate pride and joy.
Whether through quiet sacrifices, constant encouragement, or just being a steady, loving presence, she made sure her boys and her grandchildren always knew they were cherished. Her love was their foundation, and her devotion to her family will be her greatest gift, leaving behind a legacy of pure love, warmth, and beautiful memories. While her family will miss her beyond measure every single day, they find profound comfort and peace in knowing that Debbie is now resting safely in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
Preceded in death by her sister Rebecca Lehman, sister-in-law Dea Morton, brother-in-law Eric Schwarz, her stepfather Robert Olnhausen, and father-in-law Alfon Schwarz.
Survived by her husband, Alfred Schwarz of Elwood, Nebraska; son Chris (Kristen) Schwarz of Doniphan, Nebraska; son Scott Schwarz of Elwood, Nebraska; mother, Gloria Olnhausen of Lexington, Nebraska; mother-in-law Linda Schwarz of Lexington, Nebraska; brother Allyn Morton (Pamela) of Lexington, Nebraska; and grandchildren Claire, Seth, Noah, Mason, and Korbin.
The family will gather for a private burial to lay her to rest and celebrate her life together, and no public services will be held.
We will love you forever, Mom. “Well done, good and faithful servant”
