Charles D. Moore, 70, formerly of Lexington, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Emerald Nursing & Rehab Lakeview in Grand Island, Nebraska.

He was born on January 22, 1955, in Lexington, Nebraska, to Darrell and Katherine (Norbeck) Moore. He attended school in Lexington, until junior high when he began working for Tenneco Monroe. He worked there for many years and greatly enjoyed it. Charles was active in the Special Olympics and enjoyed working on car models and drawing. He was very mechanically minded.

Survivors include his sisters, Linda (Bob) Kroon of Longmont, Colorado, Pam (Ronnie) Stryker of Eddyville, and Teresa Dunaway of Lexington, as well as extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington with Pastor Domingo Torres, officiating.

Burial will be held at Sumner Cemetery following the service. A Luncheon will follow at the United Church of Sumner – West Campus.

Memorials are kindly suggested to Emerald Nursing and Rehab Lakeview in Grand Island, for the great care they took of Charles.
