Briana Jo Bevard

Briana Jo Bevard, 27, of Cozad, Nebraska, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023, at CHI Health St. Elizabeth in Lincoln surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on September 5, 1995, in Broken Bow, Nebraska to Ryan and Georgetta Lynn (Andersen) Kelly. Her family relocated to Lexington where she spent most of her life before moving once more to Cozad. She graduated from Cozad High School with the class of 2014. After high school, Briana went on to receive her Med Aide and CNA license.

On June 4, 2016, Briana married the love of her life, Alex Bevard. To this union, five beautiful children were born: Paizlie, Zayleigh, Hunttyr, Xoey and Xander. Briana’s children were her entire world. She loved being a mother and raising her children was her top priority. They kept her on her toes every second. During her down time, Briana enjoyed creating amazing crocheting projects. She also loved getting to spend quality time with her husband going fishing and hunting even though hunting wasn’t her strength. She was an amazing wife and mother and will be greatly missed.

Those left to celebrate her life is her husband, Alex Bevard of Cozad; children, Paizlie, Zayleigh, Hunttyr, Xoey and Xander Bevard all of Cozad; sister, Justine (Jorge) Hermosillo of Lexington; brother, Austin Kelly of Lexington; father, Ryan Kelly of Lexington; in-laws, Ray and Carrie Bevard of Cozad; grandmothers: Sharon Carr of Overton and Susan Andersen of Kearney; and grandfather, Ron Kvasnicka of Cozad.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Georgetta “Jo” Kelly.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington, Nebraska with Pastor Susan Sukraw, officiating.

There will be no visitation as the family is honoring Briana’s wish for cremation.

Memorials are kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
