Audrey L. Szakelyhidi

  Audrey L. Szakelyhidi, 37, of Callaway, Nebraska, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 22, 2018, at her home.   She was born on October 18, 1980, to Gary and Kathleen (Hogue) Szakelyhidi in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania. Audrey attended school in Ellwood City and resided there until she moved to Callaway, Nebraska in 2008. Family was very important to her and she enjoyed making people happy. No matter what might be going on in Audrey's life, she had kind words for everyone and would always be available for someone who needed to talk. She liked shooting pool, riding horses when she was younger, and collecting white tigers. She is survived by her mother and step-father, Kathleen (Mike) Shelton of Callaway, Nebraska; father, Gary Szakelyhidi of Pennsylvania; daughter, Natalia Burton of New Brighton, Pennsylvania; grandparents, Ida (Miles) Hargitt of Tulalip, Washington; sister, Danielle Szakelyhidi of Hermitage, Pennsylvania; aunt, Rabecca Gacesa of Callaway, Nebraska; niece & nephew, Heather and Justin Flickner of Hermitage, Pennsylvania; her closest cousins, Devin Jaworski, Allan Murphy and Darien Blatchford; as well as too many wonderful relatives to list by name.   Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, March 3, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. at Callaway Seven Valleys Senior Center with Rabecca Gacesa officiating. Following the celebration, a selection of Audrey’s favorite foods will be served.   There will be no visitation.   Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.   Timm-Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Callaway is assisting the family with arrangements.
