Antonio Ramirez Aguilera, 63, of Lexington passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019 at CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney. He was born November 6, 1955 in Romita, Guanajuato, Mexico to Antonio and Leonor (Aguilera) Ramirez. Antonio was united in marriage to Rosa Maria Buzo on February 18, 1984 in Mexico. Six children were blessed to this marriage: Teresita, Juan, Javier, Leonardo, Eric and Guadalupe. The family moved to Lexington on September 1, 1993. Antonio worked at Tyson Fresh Meats for over twenty years in Processing. Antonio enjoyed music, gardening, cooking and was quite the jokester. He was a mechanic and would learn and take the time to fix anything. Survivors include his mother, Leonor Aguilera of Mexico; children, Teresita Ramirez of Columbus, Ohio, Juan (Sandra) Ramirez of Lexington, Nebraska, Javier Ramirez of Lincoln, Nebraska, Leonardo Ramirez of Kearney, Nebraska, Eric Ramirez of Lexington, Nebraska and Guadalupe Ramirez of Kearney, Nebraska; six grandchildren, Mia, Aubrey, Aldo, Kristy, Emilio and Victoria; three brothers and five sisters; also surviving are nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends. Antonio was preceded in death by his father and wife, Rosa Maria Buzo. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington with Father Jose Chavez, officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. all at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in the St. Ann’s Catholic Cemetery at Lexington. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation. Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
