Angela Avalos

Angela Avalos, 46, of Lexington, Nebraska passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney.

She was born August 8, 1973 in Mexico to Ignacio and Nicolasa (Facon) Montaño.

Angela was united in marriage to Oscar Avalos in May of 1994 in Lexington. One daughter was blessed to this union: Jasmin.

She lived in California before moving to Lexington twenty-seven years ago. Angela was a homemaker and stayed busy raising their daughter.

Angela enjoyed cooking and crocheting. Angela was a faithful member of Ministerios Dios Es Amor Church in Lexington. She was always willing to help out wherever needed. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband, Oscar of Lexington; her daughter, Jasmin of Lexington; three brothers, Ignacio of New York, Alberto of California and Jose of Mexico; three sisters, Reina, Guadalupe and Sylvia all of Mexico; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Angela was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Andres.

Funeral Services will be on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Ministerios Dios Es Amor in Lexington with Pastor Santos Ordoñez, officiating. Services will be live-streamed via the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home Facebook page.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Ministerios Dios Es Amor in Lexington.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
