Amy Renae Woodside, 37, of Kearney, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 18, 2026, at her home.
She was born on June 19, 1988, in Kearney, Nebraska, to Mark and Lori Ann (Cordle) Woodside. She attended public school in Axtell and graduated from Axtell High School with the class of 2006. Amy was a nomad; exploring the world and living in various locations throughout the years such as Nebraska, Washington DC, Texas, Mississippi, Florida, California, and Washington State.
Amy had a bright personality which would show through in everything she did in life. She liked to spend time with her friends, playing pool and showed off her singing voice during karaoke. You would often find her drawing tattoos for others or painting, displaying her creative side. Amy loved animals, and adored being around horses. Amy loved and adored her family and would often watch every game or program her children had in school. Trials and tribulations brought Amy closer to her Lord, and she found loving friendships at her new church.
Amy is survived by her father, Mark Woodside of Kearney; her partner, Travis McKillip of Kearney; her former daughter, Makayla Paulsen; children, KristyAna Linder, LillyAna Linder, and Olyver Linder, all of Ord, Nebraska; siblings; Travys (Briana) Woodside of Kearney, Talia Woodside of Omaha, Brianna Woodside of Omaha, Katlynn (Chris) Weathers of Scottsbluff, Andreas (Ashley) Paulsen, Jonathan (Paige) Paulsen, Luke (Brittany) Morrow of Kearney, and Lance Morrow of North Loup, Nebraska; grandparents, Bonnie Smith of Kearney, and Patricia (Wayne) Woodside of Odessa; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Amy was preceded in death by her mother, Lori Ann Paulsen; grandparents, LeRoy Woodside, Myrna Woodside and Bill Cordle; as well as her aunts, Laura Peterson and Kelly Blum.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington with Pastor Adrian Boykin officiating.
Visitation will be held an hour prior to the funeral service from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Memorials are kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
