Alejo Valente Lara

Alejo Valente Lara, 66, of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at his home in Lexington. He was born February 17, 1953 to Juan and Gabriela Lara (Montes) Valante in Tempantla, Jalisco, Mexico. Alejo moved to Lexington from California in 2017 to be closer to family. Survivors include his father, Juan Valente of Mexico; children, Araceli (Sal) Acevedo of Lancaster, California, Alejandra (Robert) Trejo of Lexington, Daniel (Jennifer) Valente of Crete, Heriberto (Carla) Valente of Lexington, Adam (Cynthia) Valente of Lexington, Jose (Tamara) Valente of Lincoln and Enrique Valente of Lexington, Nebraska; twenty one grandchildren; numerous brothers, sisters, cousins, extended family and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington. Burial will be held at a later date in California.
