Ageo Feliciano Martinez Cruz “El Chanza”, 64, de Lexington, Nebraska, fallecio el jueves, 20 de abril de 2023, en el Centro Médico de la Universidad de Nebraska.

Ageo nació en Ayoquezco De Aldama, Oaxaca, hijo de Raymundo Martínez y Elpidia Cruz. Ageo se mudó a California y se mudó nuevamente en 2001, a Lexington, Nebraska. Ageo se unió en matrimonio con el amor de su vida, Juana Ortiz. Cinco hijos fueron bendecidos a esta unión: Miguel, Rosalva, Uriel, Odalis, y Nallely.

Ageo era un hombre muy trabajador. Trabajó durante varios años en Tyson, y en el centro de distribución de Walmart en North Platte. A Ageo le encantaba probar nuevas recetas y experimentar con la comida para compartir con su familia. También le encantaba aprender cosas nuevas, como tocar un instrumento y cantar o pintar y dibujar. Siempre tenía que mantenerse ocupado y se lo encontraba al aire libre la mayoría de los días. Ageo era un hombre de familia y adoraba pasar tiempo con su familia, hacienda carne asadas y ver a su equipo de fútbol favorito, las Chivas o el equipo nacional de México.

Los que quedan para honrar su memoria es su querida esposa, Juana Martinez de Lexington; sus hijos, Rosalva Martinez y esposo Carlos Godoy de Lexington, Uriel Martinez y esposa Rosalina Garcia de Crete, Odalis Martinez y esposo Juan Carlos de Lexington y Nallely Martinez de Lexington; sus nietos, Fredy, Adrian, Guadalupe, Alma, Uriel Jr, Ana, Giselle, Fatima y Ivan, y muchas sobrinas, sobrinos, familiares y amigos.

Aparte de sus padres, Ageo es precedido en al Muerte por su hijo, Miguel Martinez, su nuera, Patricia Perez y nietos Miguel Jr y Rosa.

La Misa de Entierro Cristiano sera el martes 25 de abril de 2023 a la 1:00 p.m. en la Iglesia Católica de Santa Ana en Lexington con el Padre José Chávez, oficiando. El servicio se transmitirá en vivo a través de la página de Facebook de Reynolds-Love Funeral Home.

El velorio será el lunes 24 de abril de 2023, con familiares recibiendo amigos de 3 a 7 p.m. en Reynolds-Love Funeral Home con un rosario a las 7 p.m.

El entierro sera en el cementerio católico de Santa Ana después de la misa.

Ageo Feliciano Martinez Cruz, “El Chanza”, 64, of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

He was born in Ayoquezco De Aldama, Oaxaca to Raymundo Martinez and Elpidia Cruz. Ageo moved to California and moved again in 2001, to Lexington, Nebraska. Ageo was united in marriage to the love of his life, Juana Ortiz. Five children were blessed to this union: Miguel, Rosalva, Uriel, Odalis, and Nallely.

Ageo was a very hardworking man. He worked for several years in Tyson as well as the Walmart distribution center in North Platte. Ageo loved trying new recipes and getting to experiment with food to share with his family. He also loved learning new things, whether it was playing an instrument and singing or painting and drawing. He always had to stay busy and would be found outdoors most days. Ageo was a family man and adored spending time with his family, having cook outs and watching his favorite soccer team, the Chivas or the National Mexico team.

Those left to honor his memory are his loving wife, Juana Martinez of Lexington, Nebraska; his children, Rosalva Martinez and her husband Carlos Godoy of Lexington, Uriel Martinez and his wife Rosalina Garcia of Crete, Odalis Martinez and her husband Juan Carlos of Lexington and Nallely Martinez of Lexington; grandchildren, Fredy, Adrian, Guadalupe, Alma, Uriel Jr, Ana, Giselle, Fatima and Ivan, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Other than his parents, Ageo is preceded in death by his son, Miguel Martinez, daughter-in-law Patricia Perez and grandchildren Miguel jr. and Rosa.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington with Father Jose Chavez, officiating. The service will be live-streamed via the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home facebook page.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 24, 2023, with family receiving friends from 3-7 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home with a Rosary to follow at 7p.m.

Burial will be held at St. Ann’s Catholic Cemetery following mass.

Memorials are kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
