Adam D. Bean, 40, of Ogallala, Nebraska passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021 in Gosper County.
Adam was born in Broken Bow, Nebraska on May 4, 1981, to David and Patty (Munnell) Bean. At the age of 6, his family moved from Arnold, Nebraska to Eustis, Nebraska. Adam attended and graduated from Eustis-Farnam High School with the class of 2000. He went on to further his education at Midland Lutheran College. He then received a diploma from Southeast Community College, Milford, Nebraska, in the John Deere Ag Tech Program.
Following graduation, Adam took a job with Pender Implement at West Point, Nebraska, and drove a cattle truck for Beed Transportation. Adam then purchased his own truck and hauled cattle. Adam went on to manage Cool Farms in Arnold before working as an Agronomist for ServiTech. He enjoyed being in the fields and being a crop specialist.
On March 31, 2012, he was united in marriage to Nicky Paulsen at Plum Creek Canyon. From this union, Adam gained 3 step-daughters: Jaelynn, Bailey, and Payton. To this family, they added one daughter, Audrey Joyce. They would eventually make their home in Gothenburg, Nebraska before moving to Ogallala in 2019.
Adam enjoyed fishing with his daughter Audrey, riding his motorcycle, and camping. Summers were busy following the girls to their softball games, spending time boating on the lake, competing in Demolition Derbies, and driving anything that was loud and fast. He loved spending time with his friends and, especially, his family.
Adam had a passion for firefighting and was a member of the Ogallala Volunteer Fire Department. He was kind-hearted and had a selfless soul. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
