Mario Alvidrez-Avila

Mario Alvidrez Avila, 58, of Lexington, Nebraska, died Sunday, August 27, 2017, at BryanLGH West Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was born May 19, 1959, in Valle de Zaragoza, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Jose and Anastacia (Avila) Alvidrez. Mario moved to the United States as a young man, attained his citizenship, and worked at Tyson Fresh Meats in Lexington in the Slaughter Department. He was united in marriage to Bertha Sanchez and three sons were blessed to this marriage; Mario, Jorge, & Juan. Mario is survived by his wife, Bertha of Lexington, Nebraska; his three sons, Mario, Jorge & Juan; two grandchildren, and many extended family members. Visitation will be held for Mario on Tuesday, August 29th from 1-7 p.m. and on Wednesday, August 30th from 1-5 p.m. at the Reynolds-Love Chapel in Lexington. His body will then be transported to Pantion Municipal Valle de Zaragoza in Valle de Zaragoza, Chihuahua, Mexico for burial. Memorials are suggested to the family.
