He was born July 15, 1931, in Overton, Nebraska, to William T. and Lucille A. (Morgan) Saulsbury. He attended school in Overton and graduated with the High School Class of 1949. Larry was a proud member of the United States Navy, he enlisted on January 7, 1952, and was honorably discharged December 19, 1955. He served as a Seaman during the Korean Conflict in Panama.
