Jeremy E. Randolph

October 23, 1974 — March 2, 2017

Jeremy E. Randolph, 42, of Aberdeen, South Dakota, died Thursday, March 2, 2017, at his home. He was born October 23, 1974, in Aurora, Nebraska, to Darrell and Georgetta (Hagihara) Randolph. An interesting note to Jeremy’s heritage is his mother descended from the Cheyenne/Ogallala Indian Tribe. A culture filled with rich tradition and one he passed down to his own children. The family moved to Lexington when Jeremy was a young boy. He attended school in Lexington, graduating from Lexington High School with the class of 1993. He held the Pole Vault state record for many years. Jeremy was involved in many sports. One of his other favorites was bowling. He loved bowling doubles with his dad. Jeremy was united in marriage to Michele Hock on February 25, 1994, in Lexington. Three children were born to this marriage; Branden, Madison, and Allisen. Madison preceded Jeremy in death on November 24, 1996. The marriage ended in divorce. He would then marry Kimberly Henderson on December 24, 2008, in Hastings, Nebraska. Jeremy welcomed Kimberly’s four children as if they were his own; Orion, Tory, Timothy, and Tara. The couple moved to Aberdeen where Jeremy worked in the Maintenance Department of a beef packing plant. His favorite job; however, was helping the BBQ Company with their catering business for over 25 years. He enjoyed keeping busy around the house, and working on his Thunderbird through the years. He really never knew a stranger, and would give the shirt off his back. Survivors include his wife; Kimberly Randolph of Aberdeen, South Dakota; son, Branden (Brittani) Randolph of Cozad, Nebraska, Orion Davis of Morris, Illinois, Tory Davis of Aberdeen, South Dakota, Timothy Davis of Lincoln, Nebraska, and daughters, Allisen Randolph of Lexington, Nebraska, and Tara Davis of Ellendale, North Dakota; his father, Darrell (Erika) Randolph of Grand Island, Nebraska; stepmother, Diane Randolph of Grand Island, Nebraska; sister, Tina Randolph of Colorado Springs, Colorado; five grandchildren; Trayvin Jelsma of Avon, South Dakota, Bailee Randolph of Cozad, Nebraska, Blayten Randolph of Cozad, Nebraska, Lucas Byers of Ellendale, North Dakota, Levi Davis of Aberdeen, South Dakota, and one on the way; special nephew, Ben Platt of Washington State; as well as extended family and friends. Jeremy was preceded in death, in addition to his daughter Madison, by his mother; grandparents; and mother-in-law. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 11, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Chapel in Lexington with Pastor Jared Dupont officiating.
