Maria Teresa Clemente

Maria Teresa Clemente, 58, of Arapahoe, Nebraska, former Lexington resident, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015, as the result of a traffic accident near Arapahoe. Maria was born April 10, 1957, in San Salvador, El Salvador, to Geronima Clemente Viudia De Ortiz. She moved to the United States as a young woman. Maria was married to Mario Corzo on April 10, 1995, in Los Angeles, California. Five children were blessed to this marriage; Ivonne, Jose, William, Byron, and Yesenia. The family moved to Lexington, Nebraska in 1999. She formerly worked at Tyson Fresh Meats, and just recently had been employed by Maschoff Hog Confinement Company near Arapahoe for the past several months. Maria was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to sing, go shopping, take walks, grow beautiful flowers, and was a great cook. She had a teasing personality and always had a big smile when greeting family and friends. Her family was her life, and she will be so very missed. Survivors include her husband; Mario of Arapahoe, Nebraska; five children; Ivonne (Julio Cesar) Vazquez of Bellflower, California, Jose Mario Corzo of Omaha, Nebraska, William (Fabiola Calderon) Corzo of Dorchester, Nebraska, Byron Alexander Corzo of Arapahoe, Nebraska, and Yesenia (Elmer Leiva) Corzo of Lexington, Nebraska; also a special daughter, Cristina Mancera of Lexington, Nebraska; eleven grandchildren, Mike, Andrew, Nathan, Kayla, Genesis, Jose, Ariana, Mia, Zaylyn, Davis and Amy; along with her beloved brothers, and sister in El Salvador; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Maria was preceded in death by her mother, and one brother. Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 24, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Chapel in Lexington with Pastor Vilma Cardenas officiating. Burial will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery in Lexington. Visitation will be Friday, October 23, 2015, from 2-7 p.m. at the Reynolds-Love Chapel in Lexington.
