Sandra T. Rangel, 59, of Lexington, Nebraska, entered her Heavenly home on Wednesday, November 7, 2007, at her home in Lexington.
She was born May 26, 1948, in Ensenada, Mexico, to Martin and Angela (Mendoza) Rangel.
Sandra moved to Lexington in 1998, to be near her two children. She was a wonderful mother and enjoyed being with her family and babysitting the grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church and was very active in the ministry of teaching the children the Liturgy of the Word and teaching Catechism. She was always helping with the Passion play at Easter, Lady of Guadalupe and the Mother’s Day celebrations.
Sandra was always helping people. She taught kids to read, sing and dance. She loved life and people loved her. She will be so very missed.
Survivors include her children: Rigoberto Salcedo Rangel of Lexington, Nebraska
Cynthia (Guillermo) Ramirez of Lexington, Nebraska
Five grandchildren: Guillermo, Jr., Damaris, Analya, Damian and Jesus Andres.
One brother: Angel Herrera of Ensenada, Mexico
One sister: Margarita Gerardo of San Bernardino, California
Other relatives and many, many friends.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters and one brother.
The casket will be closed.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, November 10, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington with Reverend Romeo Villegas, officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington.
Visitation for Guest Book Signing and visiting with the Family will be Friday, November 9, 2007, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church.
Memorials are kindly suggested to the Family.
